Back tattoo ideas need scale and shape
Back tattoo ideas can mean very different things: a small spine design, upper back script, ornamental shoulder flow, floral work or a full back project. I use these examples for direction, not as a rulebook about what a woman should get.
The back gives space, but the design still needs a clear shape. A narrow spine piece should not be planned like a shoulder-to-shoulder layout. A floral back tattoo needs different spacing from a heavy blackwork design.
How I narrow the direction
Start with the portfolio and look at scale, spacing and line weight. Use the style pages if you're choosing between floral, ornamental, fine line, blackwork or Celtic references. The back tattoo placement page explains movement, posture and positioning.
When you send the idea, include the area, rough height and width in centimetres, how visible it should be and references for the look rather than a tattoo to copy. Add straight and angled daylight photos of the whole back so I can assess the layout and likely sessions.
