Terms of Service

Milly Tattoo booking terms covering 18+ studio policy, prices, deposits, 48-hour rescheduling, references, appointments and aftercare.

Clear terms for tattoo requests, deposits, appointment changes and studio visits.

Last updated: 2 July 2026.

These terms apply when you use the Milly Tattoo website, send a tattoo request or book an appointment at the Birr studio.

1. Requests and confirmation

Submitting a form doesn't confirm an appointment. I first review the idea, placement, size, references and timing. A booking is confirmed only when I have agreed the work, date and any required deposit.

I may decline work that is unsafe, unsuitable for the requested size or placement, copied from another artist, hateful, or outside my experience.

I don't tattoo faces, fingers, palms or feet. The back of the hand is fine. I consider some intimate placements only after a private conversation, and I may still decline them. Cybersigilism isn't a style I take on. I also refuse hateful imagery, including swastikas or SS symbols, swear-word text and explicit genital imagery.

2. Age policy

Milly Tattoo is an adults-only studio. I tattoo clients aged 18 and over and may request photo ID. This is my 18+ studio policy, not a statement of a statutory minimum age in Irish tattoo law. My tattoo age guide explains why online answers can differ.

3. Prices and deposits

The studio minimum is €50. Custom work and cover-ups both start from €150. Other prices depend on the final design, placement, detail and session time. I'll explain the quote before the appointment.

A deposit may be required to reserve a date and is deducted from the final tattoo price. The amount and payment instructions are confirmed before you pay.

4. Rescheduling, cancellation and no-shows

Give at least 48 hours' notice to move an appointment. With sufficient notice, a deposit can normally be transferred to one replacement date. Less than 48 hours' notice, repeated rescheduling, a missed appointment or a major last-minute change may result in the deposit being retained and a new deposit being required.

If I must cancel, the deposit will be moved to a suitable date or refunded.

5. Designs and references

Reference images help communicate direction; they do not give permission to copy another artist's tattoo. I may redraw, simplify or decline a design so it works safely and clearly on skin.

You're responsible for checking names, dates, spelling, translations, symbols and direction before tattooing begins. For Ogham, bring the exact inscription after checking its meaning and direction independently; I don't verify the language. The final stencil and placement must be approved on the day.

6. Appointment conduct and health

Arrive rested, sober and able to consent. Tell me before the appointment about anything that may affect safe tattooing, including relevant allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy, medication or a condition that affects healing or bleeding. I may pause or refuse a session where proceeding would be unsafe.

Follow the aftercare instructions provided. A normal healing response varies, but worsening heat, redness, swelling, discharge, severe pain or feeling unwell requires medical advice.

7. Images

I'll ask before using an identifiable image of you. Close-up tattoo images may be requested for portfolio purposes, but permission can be declined without affecting the service. Reference uploads are handled under the privacy policy.

8. Website content

Prices, availability and guidance can change. General website information is not a personal medical diagnosis or a guaranteed quote. Text and original images on the site may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

9. Contact

Questions about a booking or these terms can be sent through the contact page or to info@millytattoo.com.
