Bring the useful parts

You don't need a finished design. Tell me the subject, exact body area and rough width or height in centimetres. Send two or three references and explain what you like in each one, along with a straight daylight photo of the placement. Mention nearby tattoos, scars, a date you are working around and any detail that must stay.

Very small tattoos cannot carry the same detail as larger work, and rounded or moving areas change the drawing. I will explain when an idea needs more room, fewer details or another position. At this stage I am planning with you, not drawing the final design.

Look through my portfolio before we speak so you can judge whether my work suits you. A one-off drawing belongs under Custom Tattoo, while an old tattoo needs a separate Cover-Up review.

For a first tattoo, tell me what worries you most. I can explain the appointment, preparation and normal healing. The first tattoo guide and aftercare guide cover the basics. Personal medical questions need to go to your doctor.

What you will know afterwards

When the details are clear, I can often give a likely size, placement, number of sessions and price range. I can't promise an exact quote while the subject, scale or body area is still changing. The pricing guide shows the general factors; the consultation applies them to your own idea.

I will also say when a request can't work as planned. It may need a clearer reference, more room, fewer small details or an in-person check of an old tattoo or scar. A direct answer now is better than taking a deposit for a weak plan.

Studio or message

Message works well when the photographs and measurements are clear. I may reply with a few short questions while I sort the details. When photographs leave the body area, scar or old tattoo unclear, an in-studio appointment is the honest next step. I would rather see the area than guess.

Use the booking form to send the idea and choose consultation as the next step. After my reply, you can book, change the idea or leave it there. You do not need to explain why.
