Full Day Session

A full-day tattoo session in Birr keeps six to seven hours of studio time free for one person and one large piece, including breaks and up to five hours of tattooing. Sleeves, back pieces, thigh panels, connected compositions and major stages of an ongoing tattoo can all suit this format. The goal is focused progress in one planned day, not a promise to finish every large design in a single sitting.

What the reserved day includes

Your booking holds the working day for one client. During that time I finish the drawing for the agreed stage, check the placement, apply the stencil, prepare the skin and tattoo. You can take normal breaks. At the end I photograph the work, dress it and go through the aftercare with you. Six to seven hours describes the reserved session window, not six or seven uninterrupted hours under the needle.

Stencil placement and final checks can take time, especially on a sleeve, back, thigh, or area that moves around a joint. Breaks protect concentration and help you manage a long sitting. If the skin becomes too irritated or your body has reached a sensible limit, I'll stop rather than chase a timetable at the expense of healing.

Which projects fit a full day

A full day can suit the first large stage of a sleeve, a substantial black and grey or colour piece, a back or thigh panel, or the next stage of work I have already started. Some projects need several full days. Others are better divided into shorter sessions because of placement, pain, skin response, or the kind of detail involved.

I review your idea and photographs through a free consultation before accepting this booking. That review is required for full-day work because I need enough information to reserve the right amount of time and prepare the correct stage. Scope, price and expectations

A full day starts from €600. The deposit is 50% of the agreed tattoo price; it holds the date and design work and comes off the final balance. Final price can change with design complexity, placement, colour, cover-up restrictions and whether an existing piece must be integrated. I confirm the scope and price before you pay. You should know what stage I intend to complete, what could make us stop earlier, and whether another session is likely.

Skin doesn't work like a production deadline. Dense saturation, difficult areas, heavy cover-up work and repeated passes can reduce the safe tattooing time. I'll make good progress, but I won't guarantee a finished sleeve or back piece in one day when the design clearly needs more. I set that scope before you pay a deposit.

Preparing for the session

Sleep well the night before. Eat a proper meal before you come. Drink plenty of water the day before, and no alcohol. Bring a meal, simple snacks, water and any personal comfort item that doesn't interfere with a clean workspace. Wear loose clothing that exposes the tattoo area without forcing fabric across fresh work. Tell me before the appointment about illness, medication changes, damaged skin, or anything else that could affect safe tattooing.

Travel plans should leave room after the session. Long drives, flights, events, swimming and physical work immediately afterwards can make recovery harder. My completed tattoo portfolio shows the scale and finish of real work, but your plan will be based on your own skin, placement, and design.

Booking the right amount of time

Choose a full day when the project is clear, the placement has been reviewed and both of us expect meaningful progress from a long sitting. Choose a shorter service when the tattoo is small, the body area is difficult to sit for, or the next stage only needs a few hours. I'll recommend the booking length that fits the project, even when that means a smaller booking.
