I work alone in a private studio and see one client at a time. You'll speak to me about the idea and I'll do the tattoo. This can suit a first tattoo, a personal piece or a Cover-Up that needs a calm discussion.

Please choose me because you like my work. Come to me if my style fits the tattoo you want. Travel time alone should not decide it.

Plan the journey from Athlone to Birr

Main Street in Birr is narrow and one-way, so on-street spaces depend on availability. There is public parking about a 10-minute walk from the studio. Allow time for that walk, and read the signs where you park. If steps, seating or waiting space affect your visit, tell me before the appointment.

Send the details I need

The tattoo services page shows the main types of work I offer. For a new design, tell me the subject, style and body area. For a Cover-Up, send clear photos of the old tattoo. For Realism, send the best original photo you have. For lettering, type the final words exactly as you want them, including spelling and punctuation.

Use the booking form to send the body area and side, rough width and height in centimetres, black or colour, and two or three useful reference images. Tell me what you like in each image. I use references to understand the direction, not to copy another artist's tattoo.

Send a clear photo of the body area so I can judge shape and space. If there is an old tattoo, scar or dark pigment, send one close photo and one wider photo in even daylight. The form doesn't book a date by itself. I read the details first and reply with the next step.

Think about the full tattoo, not only one visit

Tell me that you're travelling from Athlone. It helps me understand which days and times may be practical for you, especially if you need public transport or have a long return journey.

Some tattoos are finished in one sitting. Larger work, dense colour, detailed Realism and some Cover-Ups may need more than one. I won't squeeze a tattoo into one sitting just to reduce the number of trips. I'll explain the likely plan before offering a date.

If a tattoo may grow into a sleeve or a larger piece later, tell me now. I can leave useful space and plan the direction of the design. This is easier than trying to force separate tattoos together after they are finished.

Touch-ups are not booked automatically. Let the tattoo settle, follow the aftercare advice and send me a clear photo if something doesn't look right. I'll tell you whether it needs more time or whether I need to see it again.

Check the price before you travel

My tattoo pricing guide explains the current starting prices. The studio minimum is €50 and Custom Tattoo starts from €150. These are starting points, not one fixed price for every tattoo of a similar size.

The final price depends on the size, detail, placement, colour, drawing time and any old pigment I need to work with. Send the full idea before asking for an exact quote. If something important is missing, I'll tell you what I still need.

The booking form doesn't take a card payment. If a deposit is needed after I review the idea, I'll confirm the amount, payment method and the cancellation or rescheduling terms in writing. You should know those details before paying.
