Oil paintings on watercolour paper

I paint film scenes, portraits and animals in monochrome oils. I use the same care with light, faces and layout when I draw tattoos.

What painting teaches me about tattoo work

Painting gives me time to look closely at a face, each shape and the change from light to shadow. I use the same care when I draw a custom tattoo, especially for portraits and scenes. I trained as a jeweller before I became a tattoo artist, so I'm used to small, exact work.

I paint with oils on textured watercolour paper and leave the grain visible as part of the picture. The collection includes A3, A2 and A1 pieces, and most were painted in 2025 or 2026. The paintings aren't for sale and I don't make prints. If you'd like to ask about a piece or how I made it, send me its title and your question.

My film-inspired studies are my own artworks. They are not connected to or approved by film studios or rights holders.
