Realism
I treated this as one upper-arm half-sleeve composition rather than a lion and crown placed in separate gaps. The roaring face leads from the shoulder, the crown follows the brow, and the mane carries texture and shadow around the upper arm. Darker shapes at the lower edge give the composition a deliberate finish without pretending the work continues to the wrist.
The tattoo was built over several sessions. That gave me room to keep the face, individual hairs and crown detail controlled without rushing the darker values that hold the half-sleeve together. The lower edge was planned as a deliberate finish around the upper arm. For a similar project, I ask for the main subject, supporting elements and any existing tattoos before planning the first stencil. The photographs show the completed upper-arm tattoo and its actual coverage.
