Celtic Tree of Life Forearm Tattoo

The trunk and roots grow out of one continuous Celtic knot, with the branches held inside a rounded green canopy. I used several greens rather than one flat fill, so the knotwork can stay visible while the tree still reads as a single shape.

This forearm tattoo was completed in one two-hour session. It reaches towards the wrist without sitting directly in the crease, which keeps the lower edge clean when the hand moves. The photograph shows it fresh after the session.
