Fine Line
A long magnolia branch drawn in fine black lines, with open flowers, buds and leaves spaced along the stem. The shape follows the length of the arm, so it feels light and keeps the gaps between the petals instead of turning into one dense strip.
The tattoo took one two-hour session. I used only a little shading inside the petals and leaves, leaving the linework to carry the branch. The photograph was taken when the work was fresh.
